9Tea3 is a Chicago-based tea brand offering premium organic and herbal blends, grown and harvested in Australia. Collaborating closely with the CEOs, we crafted a distinctive brand identity that fuses their love of tea with a deep appreciation for 90s Hip Hop culture.
Our work began with designing the logo, followed by a series of custom-branded packaging labels and product imagery for their Shopify website—which we designed and developed as well. Additionally we established the creative direction for the brand’s social media presence.

The logo’s leaf icon takes center stage as the primary graphic, while each product is assigned a signature color—inspired by a key ingredient or by the theme behind its name. Select words within the product names are highlighted to create visual interest. The result is a vibrant yet cohesive product line that feels both playful and polished.
We then moved on to designing the Shopify website. Using the Modular theme as our foundation, we created a custom layout in Figma and then exported all assets for upload into Shopify. While the theme imposed some limitations, we successfully mirrored the Figma prototype by incorporating custom HTML and CSS to achieve an on-brand experience.
To support 9Tea3’s social media presence, we designed branded visuals in Photoshop and Figma, then built custom Canva templates for the team’s ongoing use. Each template features the logo—and, when relevant, product pouches—to ensure consistent brand recognition.
Finally, in order to establish a unified design language for visual expressions of the brand, we created an abbreviated style guide that reflects its nostalgic roots and cultural influences while showcasing the product in a series of visually arresting, animated slides.
